Summer Speech & Language Camps 

July 3rd-6th | July 9th-13th

July 16th-20th | July 23th-27th

9:00am – 1:00pm

Registration Fee –  $400.00/week

5 individual 30 minute speech therapy sessions (additional charge) – 175.00/week

Designed to meet the needs of your child

Each camper will participate in both small and large group activities designed to improve communication, attention, social interaction, fine and gross motor skills. Children may receive individual speech therapy. Activities are designed by Speech-Language Pathologists, Behavior Consultants, Occupational Therapists and Therapy Assistants. Campers will have the opportunity to practice skills with similar aged peers. Social communication and literacy skills will be practiced within groups.

Registration Fees Include

Parent information & consultations, recommendations for home practice, materials and healthy snacks. Individual speech therapy sessions may be scheduled for an additional fee.

Parent Participation & Learning

Parents will be asked to attend an education session daily and will have the opportunity to ask specific questions and lead discussions.

Eligibility

Campers must be able to say a minimum of 20 words, follow simple routine directions and be able to sit and attend to a story for approximately 5 minutes. Children who are not toilet trained may attend camp with an assistant. Children who are non verbal may attend camp with an assistant.

For Children with Apraxia of Speech (CAS) and/or Severe Motor Speech Disorders

July 3rd-13th | Aug 13th-Aug 24th

AM session 9:00am -12pm 

PM session 1:00pm -4pm

Registration Fee – $1,150.00

Registration Fees Include

Daily individual speech therapy sessions, pre camp consultation, parent information, small group and large group therapy sessions, summary report, recommendations for home practice, materials and healthy snacks.

Campers must have a diagnosis of Childhood Apraxia of Speech (CAS), Apraxia, severe motor speech delay and/or phonological delay.

Campers must be able to say a minimum of 20 words, follow simple routine directions and be able to sit and attend to a story for approximately 5 minutes. Children who are not toilet trained may attend camp with an assistant. Children who are non verbal may attend camp with an assistant.

Campers will join same aged peers to practice communication and motor skills. Groups are designed for children ages 3-9. Evidence based treatment techniques implemented within a fun and nurturing environment!

Pathways is proud to partner with the University of Western Ontario to provide clinical training and education to students. Student Clinicians will join Certified and Registered SLP’s at camp during both individual and group treatment sessions.

New Language & Play Group

Weekly on Tuesdays or Thursdays for 10 Weeks

This group is designed for 3 and 4 year olds with speech and language delays

Children will learn language and play skills within a group setting
