Apraxia & Motor Speech Summer Camps
Designed for Children Ages 3-8 Years
Learning & Fun at Pathways Apraxia and Motor Speech Camps will be provided by Speech Language Pathologists, Graduate Level Clinicians and by Tanya Sloane, Speech Language Pathologist, “Recognized by Apraxia Kids for Advanced Training and Expertise in Childhood Apraxia of Speech.”
Campers will receive a daily individual session with a Speech Language Pathologist or a supervised Speech Language Pathology student. Individual sessions are tailored to the unique goals and needs of each child. Each camper will participate in both small and large group activities designed to improve communication, attention, social interaction, and literacy skills. Campers will have the opportunity to practice skills with similarly aged peers.
Therapeutic approaches will be based on evidence-based treatment techniques and will be individualized to meet the needs of each camper.
Children with the following diagnosis may attend: Childhood Apraxia of Speech (CAS), mild, moderate or severe phonological disorder, dysarthria, suspected CAS, motor speech disorder unspecified.
Eligibility
Campers must be able to say a minimum of 20 words, follow simple routine directions and be able to sit and attend to a story for approximately 5-10 minutes. Children who are not toilet trained and who cannot attend during group activities for at least 10 minutes must attend camp with an assistant/aide.
Camp Pricing
A 10% discount will be given when you register for 3 or more half day camps. This discount will be refunded to your credit card once your child’s registration has been processed.

Half Day Camp $600, Full Day Camp $1100
Refunds are offered up to 30 days prior to camp starting, minus a $75.00 administration fee. No refunds will be provided after the first day of camp.
